2026 Raucous Caucus — First set of Potential Candidates!
The seats are filling up fast, and the pressure is building. We told you the Raucous Caucus was returning to kick off Boulder’s first even-year election season with a bang — and today, we are thrilled to reveal the first flight of candidates stepping into the hot seat.
Who is participating so far?
We’re excited to welcome a dynamic mix of familiar faces, community leaders, and seasoned advocates to the stage on June 6th:

We will be sharing more spotlight features on each of these participants individually over the next few weeks on our social media channels, but you don't want to miss the chance to see them answer your burning questions live, uncut, and in person. We'll announce any additional candidates as we have their participation confirmed.
Event Details & Logistics
Whether you want to cheer on your favorites or push back on the status quo, this is the one political event of the year you’ll actually enjoy attending.

- 📍 Location: Twisted Pine Brewery, 3201 Walnut St.
- 💰 Admission: Free to attend, but registration is strictly required. Donations are warmly welcomed to support our grassroots work.

- No-dodge questions on Boulder’s highest-stakes issues, from housing affordability and transit to climate urgency and structural equity.
- Interactive new games and a revamped format that keeps candidates on their toes and the energy in the room electric.
- A fast-paced, dynamic atmosphere where community members, candidates, and local press can connect over local politics.
