We are grateful for two wins and a hard-fought campaign

Dear Boulder Progressives Friends and Supporters,

We are so thankful for your incredible support throughout this 2025 campaign.

Thanks to all of your hard work, we had one of our largest-ever volunteer years! We had incredible participation for our election collating party and lit drop, and together we ran a very effective campaign that early data shows was likely the single most effective year-to-date for a Boulder Progressives campaign!

All of that is thanks to each of you, your communities, and your commitment to sharing the work of Boulder Progressives.

We are so proud and pleased to welcome Nicole Speer and Matt Benjamin back to Boulder City Council! We are grateful for their leadership, their knowledge, and their willingness to serve.

Our celebration is also tempered by the fact that we will be missing the incredible Lauren Folkerts from the Boulder Council dais. Lauren’s background and experience have been key to some of the most important work our city council has done over the past four years. She has been a voice for our community, a champion of what is right, and a leader through good times and hard. While we will miss seeing her in chambers, we look forward to supporting her in all she does next.

We also welcome Rob Kaplan to council, and are looking forward to working with him over the next three years on shared goals and values including making Boulder a city that has accessible housing for our firefighters, nurses, educators, and students; ensuring that we are mitigating against the dangers posed by wildfires; and making cycling and walking throughout our city safe for all.

We congratulate Mark Wallach as well on his re-election, and we appreciate Jenny Robins, Rachel Rose Isaacson, Montserrat Palacios, Max Lord, Aaron Stone, and Rob Smoke for their willingness to put themselves out there and run for office.

Thanks to you each again for everything you gave this year, we look forward to working with you again in just a few months when our first even year election cycle kicks off!!! 🎉🎉🎉
